This free virtual workshop is ideal for teachers who have attended an Introduction Workshop (or have been using Sound Waves in the classroom) and are ready for an in-depth workshop to enhance their Sound Waves Spelling lessons.
In this comprehensive workshop, we will work with you to:
- revisit the importance of learning to spell
- explore some of the challenges of the English language
- unpack the components of high-quality spelling instruction
- take an in-depth look at segmenting and spelling choice
- review Sound Waves Spelling resources, including lesson slideshows, assessment and tools for differentiation.
This workshop runs for about one hour, and you’ll receive a PD certificate of participation.
