There may be a number of reasons teachers don’t appear to have access to online resources, including:
Their class has not been set up correctly in Class Builder.
Teachers only have access to the products allocated to their class. Ensure the teacher has been attached to a class and that class has been allocated the relevant Class Product. For more information refer to the Class Builder User Guide (Primary Products).
You still need to allocate products to Classes.
To check if products have been allocated to classes, log in and open the Class Builder and navigate to the Classes tab. Scroll down to the Classes table and look at the list of classes. If a class has been allocated a product a tick will appear under the product name column. If this cell is blank then no products have been allocated to that/those classes.
Rather than going into Edit each class one-by-one you can select the relevant classes using the selector on the left-hand column of the table, scroll down and select the Allocate Products to Selected Classes button and follow the prompts to choose the relevant products available in your school’s licence.
The teacher is yet to complete the set-up of their account.
First, check if the teacher’s status is listed as verified or unverified. If they are listed as unverified, check that you’ve entered their correct email address.
The teacher has two Firefly Online accounts.
If the teacher’s status is verified, it’s possible they have two Firefly Online accounts: one registered to their personal email and one registered to their school email. If this is the case, ensure the teacher is logging in with the email you’ve added in Class Builder.
